My teenage son handed me a surprise today — a chocolate bar I’ve been wanting to try forever. He said, “Here, Mom. Writer fuel.” 🥹💜

Honestly? He’s not wrong. Chocolate + chaos = the perfect recipe for cranking out more of Book 2 in the After the End Series.

Currently sitting at 25,000+ words and the story is getting darker, bloodier, and way more intense. (Don’t worry — there’s plenty of snark and survival banter too.)

So if you ever wonder what keeps me writing these apocalyptic love stories… the answer might just be pistachio chocolate and a sweet kid who wants to see his mom’s books on every shelf.
